Lawyer Goran Korać from the Law office of Tomislav Šunjka cited in the PaymentsCompliance Article “E-Money Licensing Lands In Serbia As Foreign Investors Line Up” by Paula Munteanu as of September 29th, 2015, on the new Law on payments transactions that will come into force on October 1st, 2015.
Mr.Korać told the PaymentsCompliance that by adopting this law, for the first time legal grounds for mobile money account services have been provided. By introducing new service providers, such as companies issuing and managing e-money or performing payment transaction services, e-trading will upswing, as well as competition.
